When I purchased the business GV Hydraulink in 2003, it was my first business venture, and I was very inexperienced. As the business grew rapidly with our customers and suppliers, it was quickly evident the need for our business to run smoothly and efficiently. One of the most
important parts for this to happen was our computer system.
After engaging multiple IT consultants for their advice on what was required, they all suggested we purchase a new server which would have cost thousands of dollars. We found we were misled and misinformed. The server was only two years old and didn’t need replacing.
